What KODO is
KODO is the operating system for crewed yachts: one connected platform where the crew run the boat's daily work and the vessel's permanent record builds itself out of that work. It is for crewed motor and sailing yachts, typically 24m to 70m, private and charter. It replaces the spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups, binders and handover notes that most vessels still run on.
Crew, management companies, owners, charter brokers and guests each see their own slice of the same shared record. The founding principle is simple: when crew rotate, the boat's knowledge should stay with the boat.
Who built it
KODO was founded in 2025 by Jordon Booth, former yacht crew. He worked from deckhand up to mate and engineer on yachts from 24m to 60m, in the Mediterranean, the Atlantic, the Bahamas, Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. The product is the system he wanted the yacht to have when he was the one trying to keep her running.

Kodo Yachts LLC is a young company, founder-led. The security fundamentals were built in from the start rather than bolted on for a questionnaire, and we do not yet carry the audit badges a large vendor would show you. We would rather say that plainly than imply otherwise.

What it is not
KODO does not certify your boat and it is not your Safety Management System. It is the tool that helps a vessel run and evidence the SMS and statutory obligations it already has. The flag-state-approved logbook remains the authoritative legal record; KODO's working log and statutory record books sit alongside it, signed entries immutable at the database level and corrections append-only with a stated reason and a named signer.
A vessel's record is never used to train an AI model, ours or anyone else's, and it never feeds another vessel's assistant. A complete export is one action away, at no charge. There is no hostage clause.
How it is priced
€1,000 per vessel per month, including every available module and unlimited crew accounts. That is the Founding Fleet rate for the first ten vessels, held for the life of the account. The price is published because a captain or a management company should not need a sales call to find out whether a system is in range.
There is no free tier and no free trial. It is month to month. Ask about current availability.
